who are we?
what do you want to know? We all try to be lazy but have day jobs, Russ is a financial counselor, Eric is in school and a marine reservist, Pat works sales for a cookie company, and Steve is a SLC cop. We just want our music to be heard and are not looking for fame/fortune. Russ and Pat have families, while Eric is single and Steve just got married. We like to hang out and play video games, watch movies and make fun of each other and disagree on where to eat. We go to local shows and big concerts and we hate the pop genre. anything else?
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Based out of Salt Lake, we'd like to think of ourselves as a internationally influenced band. Russ lived in Brazil for a few years and is obsessed w all things brazilian, Patrick lived in Canada and his wife is Canadian, Eric's dad is mexican though you could never tell. Steve lived in Montana and that is it's own country. We have been together on and off w different bandsfor over 3 years, though this is the first time all playing together. Eric went to San Diego for a while and we had a different guitarist named Manoj originally from India. If the album title on the song says "squawkbox" then it was recorded with the old guitarist in 2003 as "squawkbox". With the other guitarist, we were on 3 local radio stations local show regularly as well as radio interviews. In 2003 we were second runner up for the one spot on Lollapalooza and have played almost everywhere here in utah. Currently we are writing material a bit different from what you are hearing now from us and we are updating this site as we record. The newest songs are "First Second Chance" "farofa" and "Lovelost". We love playing together. Since each of us likes different music, there is always a battle over the cd player. We are all laid back when not on stage. Eric is an amazing guitarist and song writer, Patrick's nickname is the anvil cause he plays hard. His fills are awe inspiring, and Steve doesn't practice w us regularly but you'd never be able to tell. Russ is... well who cares about him anyways?! Anything else you want to know, just ask. We have no secrets. and don't ask us what or who we sound like 'cause we have no clue. instead how about you tell us what or who we sound like? thanks Si quer os dados em portugues, so basta pedir! O Russ foi la e virou brasileiro. Ele adora tudo de la, a menos os politicos! Tem musicas com a letra em portugues, no momento 'tamos gravando.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
we do play live and we love it. We play anywhere they let us. "isn't there an intro on this song?"
