I'm a woman on a journey. I've learned much on the path and have been moved to write songs about my lessons, thoughts, musings and things that came my way. Some will touch your heart and soul while others will make you laugh; with me, at me and your own self.Have you performed in front of an audience?I play at festivals, schools, parties, coffee houses, house concerts, and special occasions in the Tri-state area of NJ, PA & DE
I love it! I feel really grateful to be able to "follow my bliss"!
Your musical influences
Judi Collins, Harry Chapin, Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, Peter, Paul & Mary, Leonard Cohen, singer-songwriters, songs are like stories or poetry, secret sides of myself, journalistic, new age, pondering, life explorations, some songs for kids, journey of life, sad, humorous, silly, deep, about life and living, middle age, personal growth, life lessons, new insights....Mushy Gushy Sticky Icky... is this song making fun of me? Word's gotten 'round I manage my golden curls with Marshmallow Fluff, huh. That's why I wear hats, so people don't see that. Oh nuts. Sounds a bit more production to this one... the others more scaled down acoustic, two at least reminding me of John's "Working Class Hero"... which, is something to be, and God knows I'd know.
Happy New Year, Janet. God Bless, Much Love, Jesus OldmanJanet,
WOW! What a folk song. Great lyrics and a wonderful voice for this genre of music. I really enjoyed this song.
