At the end of the day it's what I think about myself. It's simply the same for my music, either you like it or you don't. In life you will meet people who will try to point out your flaws and tell you everything that is wrong wth you or something you are doing wrong. You need to know there is a difference between constructive critism, and a hater. Anyways my name is Janay. Im 20 years old and I reside in Connecticut. I was born and raised in Bridgeport Connecticut for 12 years and moved to Stratford Connecticut and yes I love it here. Im your typical City girl, and as You can see I am a huge fan of music. My favorite Singer is Janay and She has inspired become a singe. LOL. I have been singing since I was 9, I was more of a producer before and I liked to write songs, but now singing has become my number one priority. I am a full time college student, Business Marketing Major, with plans to work in the Music Industry. I am very educated on music, and the backgound of background of music as well. I ove my heritage, I am half Portuguese, and Half Jamacian, I am mixed with a couple other things but those are the main 2. During My lifetime I have had so many obsticles, and so many people who were standing in my way. I had no mother and my fatherplayed a minor role in my life. My grandmother has been a true person who has inspired me, If it werent for her I would not be writing this right now and there would be no Janay. I am grateful for everything that I have and all the people who are in my life. Remember it's not hard for me to let go, I dont need negativity in my life or people who hate on me, there are plenty of people out there who would love me. Through my music I can let out some of the pain that is in my soul, and the thoughts that are on my mind. Unlike other musicians I am not on a hustle and I have no grind, I make good music and let things fall in place. I have alot of drive and alot of passion in what I do and I know I will make it! Like I always say,I'm not a dreamer because a dream is just something in your imagination. Music is a goal in life that I will accomplish. I know this might sound funny but actually The spice girls were what first inspired me to be a singer. I remember whn I was in the third grde spice girls were the hottest thing out. e and my friends would pretend that we were the spice girls. We would go outside and put on shows and perform their shows! Of course becuase I was black I was Scary Spice but I had really loved her. After spice girls Mariah Carey took a toll on me and she was my next Idol. It was between her and Toni Braxton.What equipment do you use?
