Jamison Taylor French

The time is now, the name is Jamison and the sound is, well straight up catchy! From the age of six Jamison has been playing musical instruments of all kinds, which lead to his ecclectic sound of funk, jazz, hip-hop and rock.
Growing up in a small town he wanted to see what he could do in a larger, more diverse market, so he moved to Louisville in 2003. After playing solo stints at as many spots in town as he could, a small fan base began to grow, and it hasn't stopped. Despite his skill at playing a variety of instruments, Jamison knew that on stage he was going to need some help, and thus the talents of drummer Corey Neal, guitarist Kellen Rollins, keyboardist player Shane St. Clair were added and a band emerged.
Talent or determination? Not sure which drives Jamison and his contagious flow of rhythmic melodies. One thing is for sure; Louisville is not his last stop in his musical journey.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Playing live is the best part of writing music. The energy you get when you play live is a natural high. Gotta love buzzin' off the sound of a guitar. haha.. I strive to make the live performance better than a recording, due to the fact a lot of bands these days sound awesome on the cd, but awful live. Thats a shame since live shows are one of the most important parts of being a performer.
