James Wesley Blues Band
James Wesley Blues Band
The James Wesley Blues Band is a hard workin', hard rockin' endevor. I (JW) try to keep it real and produce real music for real people in the modern times.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I had some bands in the army and got to play with one of the best drummers ever, Ken Jones. After that, Ken and I formed a couple of more bands, and I met up with a gentleman by the name of Rick Caven. We worked together writing many songs and we will be sharing some of these in the future.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I am located in Sunny Lodi California, home of some of the best grapes and farm land on earth. We have the delta, which has helped me form my blues rock style.
Your musical influences
I love all music, especially guitar based music. I would site Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, SRV, Robin Trower, Ian Hunter, Mick Ralphs, Mick Ronson as major influences.
What equipment do you use?
I Record on my computer, with 2 Laylas hooked into a mackie board. I sequence the drums with ACID or FL Studio, and use Adobe Audition to track it out with. After the drums are done, I mostly perform the rest of the tracks myself.
Anything else?
I hope that you find my music something you will enjoy listening to.
