Jamestown
Fed up with the current 'it's cool to be depressed' attitude of today's youth, Jamestown have taken it upon themselves to put shit-eating grins back on people's faces with their high energy, happy go-lucky pop-punk tales of girls, geeks and teenage life. With their catchy melodies, hook-laden harmonies and endless energy, it's impossible to watch Jamestown without a smile on your face, and wonder, 'If they're having such a good time, why can't I ?!" Jamestown are here to make you laugh, smile, jump, and have fun.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Jamestown was formed in late 2003 in Wirral Metropolitan College when three of it's music students, David Kittlety, Marc Gartland and Aaron Noroozi decided to make music that would cheer up this increasingly depressed world. Now joined by Miles Greer on drums, they have a line-up to take on any crowd. Their debut performance saw them winning fans at a hardcore gig, something they'll soon be making a habit with the mini-tour with allfalldown and savedbyzero on its way! First EP, titled 'Something To Smile At' is out Feb 9th, check it out!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Of course we play live, it's why we're in a band and it's what makes our music come alive. If we're playing near you and you want a guaranteed fun time, come and see us!
