The Curtis family moved to Nashville, Tennessee where his Dad was an Air Force recruiter. There could not have been a better location for the family. JT was old enough to let his young talent grow as he met some of Nashville’s Legends in country music. His mother stayed at home playing Elvis Presley’s music as she was worked around the house and his father was always playing and singing while he was tuned into his favorite country music stations. Living in Nashville, allowed JT with the family band to perform at a number of large and varied venues. When military life came to a close with his father’s retirement, the Curtis family moved to Land-O-Lakes, Florida.
With more time to focus on music JT and the family band maintained a full time schedule performing throughout the country. With the exception of school, JT and his sisters focused on expanding their musical talents with the family band. After graduating High School at Land-O-Lakes High, JT enrolled in at Florida Metropolitan University. However, college life could not compete with his love and desire to perform and entertain with his own music. After two years JT withdrew from college and decided to focus fulltime on his music career. With his family’s blessing and support JT set his goals into motion. JT began writing his own material and put together a traveling road band going from coast to coast.
JT has become an accomplished Singer/Songwriter/Performer is currently talking with several major record labels in securing a recording deal. At this point in time, it is clear that his hard work and dedication, along with the support of family, friends and fans guarantess him a chance at stardom.
JT and The Silver Eagle Band performs from 150 to 250 road shows per year and has opened and performed with some of country music’s biggest artists such as: Brooks & Dunn, Lonestar, Joe Diffie, Tracy Byrd and Big & Rich, just to mention a few.
JT has appeared at The Florida Strawberry Festival, Florida State Fair, Jerry Lewis Telethon, Time Warner Cable, Wild Horse Saloon, Hard Rock Cafe and other large venues. JT and The Silver Eagle Band are currently playing “A” circuit clubs throughout the United States.
JT’s original style of music is Pure, Honest and comes Straight From The Heart. JT Curtis and The Silver Eagle Band has achieved widespread popularity and are local celebrities in the clubs and venues they perform at.Have you performed in front of an audience?On the Road!
