Well......thanks Beaker, for the kind introduction. Here are a few of my solo efforts, my attempt at having a voice in this big world. I try to have my songs say something, but then there are songs like "Me" that were just fun to one-off. Please let me know if you like what you hear - I have lots more I could put up with a minimum of encouragement - if I know someone is listening, I will make sound! As with songwriting, I find it is much more fun to do with friends, but becomes much harder to coordinate.
Your musical influences
Cat Stevens, Neil Young, James Taylor, Bob Dylan, Bruce Cockburn are the biggest influences on my style. Gotta confess that Alice Cooper (when it was the band) impressed me with their knack for putting songs together in an interesting way - very under-rated in my opinion. His subject matter probably didn't help.
