There's me, a few guitars, a few harmonicas, a microphone. Some pain, some joy, alot of indifference. A little love, a little war, an overflowing ashtray. A couple good friends, a few great influences, and the gods that overlap. A broken pencil, an empty pen, and an exhausted notebook. An idea, a philosophy, a direction, and a new pair of sneakers.

Band/artist history

James has been writing songs consistantly for over 15 years. With over 100 original songs in his catalogue, he makes it obvious that he takes his job seriously. In the early '90s James made a name for himself within the rankings of folk-singer/songwriters in and around Boston and the coffee houses and clubs in northern Massachusettes and southern New Hampshire. Now, after a 10 year hiatus from the music scene, where he honed his creative abilities and performance skills doing musical and dramatic theatre, James is back with new material and the hunger for making his work known to the public again.

Have you performed in front of an audience?

Yes I do. But since I'm between bands, I don't get out so much.

Your musical influences

Dylan, Croce, Denver, Taylor, Simon, JohnPaulGeorgeandRingo, The Boss, John Gorka, Willie Waylon and the boys.

What equipment do you use?

I've got the same Tama 6-string I've had since I was 18, a Washburn 12-string, a Fender nylon-string, a couple different basses, a piece-of-shit mandolin, and an ass-load of warped and rusty harmonicas.
