Crossed It Crossed It
It took me months to figure out what to do with this beat I produced. Once I got it,I felt GOOD!

Hello, My name is Jada Ward. I am a music producer, songwriter and sound engineer. I graduated from Los Angeles Film school with my Associates degree in Recording Arts. There, I learned everything from making and mixing music to recording and mixing post production. I love doing both, but music is my love and post production can be a little tedious. Besides I love the creativity the comes with music. There are no rules.
Band/artist history
I've been writing songs for as long as i can remember with my little barbie boombox. I do feel that I have evolved, but there's always more growing to do. I can't wait to hear what I make, the experiences I create and the people I work with down the line.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
No! I've never performed in front of a live audience. I don't plan on it either. I'm way to shy and introverted to stand in front of a big crowd and talk/sing/anything. (Imagine how my school projects and graduation speech was omg). It is something I am working on and would like to overcome, but for now I'm content with intimate settings to just create reference tracks for someone with a great voice to hear and want to make sound better.
Your musical influences
I have too many to name but I'll start with my dad. He's the reason I've been surrounded by the makings of music my entire life. He's taught me almost everything I know, and is my biggest supporter.
Other than him, I've been influenced by many songwriters and producers including Starrah, Nija Charles, Eric Bellinger, Bryan Michael Cox, Kehlani, and a lot more I can't seem to think of at the moment.
What equipment do you use?
For convenience, I use garageband on my iphone. That's to get my ideas out in the quickest way possible with effects added, also for an easy mix. Otherwise, I have a home studio where I use either Maschine or Protools to produce, record and mix my music.
Anything else?
Please listen and give feedback. It's really appreciated. Thanks Yall!
