I am a singer/songwriter based in dublin. I organise and present the acoustic sessions at the International bar every Monday night on Wicklow st. Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I'm just home from a weeks mini tour of America While in the States I got to meet the lovely Maura o Connell and had the pleasure of playing the same stage at the Celtfest in North Hampton. The river fire Festival took place in Chadham, Hudson Valley, NY and that was pretty cool I got to hook up with bands such as the Rising and Cyote Run who were cool to hang out with thanks!
Your musical influences
Genie mac !!!!!! What a question I just dont know I guess all the people I heard in my mothers womb sure she's a mighty singer and my dad played drums. I think I heard Johnny cash before I even had ears. Also smokey! ya remember them? Well i played Alice every morning and the other one that go's "cos I'm floating on a milkyway, oh carol" when I must have been only two /three on a cassette for about two hours the same two songs. Ha I'm sure there in my writing some where Ha Ha Ha! I've kinda gone of them now you'll be pleased to know!
