jack the ex-cynic
i'm a solo singer-songwriter with a wide range of influences in guitar-centric genres.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
well it's just me and it's been like that for a few years now. i started out sequencing midi before i could even play the guitar. once i learned the guitar i threw out most of my songs (which sucked anyway, it takes everybody a few songs to write something decent). i've been slowly amassing recording gear and i've got a pretty decent living-room studio now.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
i play live often for worship events, but i haven't played my own music live in quite some time. i'm focusing now on writing and practicing more than recording.

Anything else?
i don't believe in labeling music "christian", or that such a label makes music "better" or "safer" than other music. i believe the value of the music comes from the integrity of the artist to their art.
