This site includes songs that are more sketchpads for ideas anything else - these are certainly not finished products by any means... recordings done with my good friend Jon Polletta, a terrific bass player and someone I get along with musically as well.Have you performed in front of an audience?I have played live from New Hampshire to New York, in clubs and dives, at schools and backyards. I've always been critical of the live sound of the bands I've been involved with, but performing in that context is heaven on Earth to me. I love it.
Your musical influences
Failure, Hum, King's X, Living Colour, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Nirvana, Tool, Year of the Rabbit, Yo La Tengo, Sonic YouthWhat equipment do you use?
Guitars: 1991 Carvin DC127, a Warmoth homemade Strat built by a friend in 2001, Artisan lap steel, Fender acoustic with Martin Thinline pickup, 2009 Fender Standard Telecaster
Basses: 2001 Carvin LB75 fretless, Fender J bass
Amp: Fender Super Champ XD with a truckload of effects and a Behringer Ultra-G DI connected to the Fender's line out.
Jon uses a Fender Geddy Lee J and a Nemesis 4x10 combo.Anything else?
These tracks were recorded direct - no microphones! - into a M-Audio FastTrack Pro and captured using a free version of Mackie's Tracktion software.JACKO! Hey man, like the riffs! Some HEAVY Satch influences, which is great to hear. And the sweet Carvin rocker-cherry-red ref was awsome!!!All comments (2)
