Band/artist history
Rock band JAAD was created by a guitar player Jaroslaw (Jarek) Adryanczyk in autumn 1994. After one year playing of Jarek's instrumental pieces JAAD increased in number - a vocalist Rafal Zurawinski joined the band. At the same time the drummer Krzysztof Tofil started collaboration with Patrycja Kosiarkiewicz.
From the beginning of its history JAAD has been giving a lot of concerts in music clubs and pubs. In 1997 the band won the first prize in the local music contest as the best group of the Zielona Gora Province. There were more and more fans and concerts. JAAD supported famous bands and musicians such as Hey and Krzysztof Scieranski; opened the greatest music festival in Poland "Przystanek Woodstock" Zary 97. Live performances on the radio and for 150000 people on "Polish Woodstock" proved JAAD's skills and experience. Some songs reached high positions on the radio charts.
The band gave concerts with Adam Wendt, the saxophonist from Walk Away. In November of 2000' JAAD took part in 15th anniversary Walk Away concert in Hybrydy club in Warsaw. "Odslona" was the first CD of the band. Currently JAAD is working in the studio on the new record as well as giving concerts.Currently JAAD is working (we have just completed) on the new album "Two". Our concerts include a great variety of rock, blues and pop songs. We usually play our own pieces together with covers, such as: Red Hot Chili Peppers- "Under The Bridge", "Californication"; Sting- "Roxanne, "It's probably me"; Lenny Kravitz- "American Woman", "Fly Away"; Eric Clapton- "Tears In Heaven"; Creed- "With Arms Wide Open"; Stevie Ray Vaughan- "Pride and joy", "Mary had a little lamb".
