Ivana Kindl from Požega was born on 18 January. In her childhood she played gymnastics and danced and learned to play accordion in music school. At the age of 15 she discovers the magic of soul and R 'n ' B music through singers like Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston. During her secondary education she used to travel every week to music teacher Mario Gjuranac who taught her singing. She appeared in various TV shows like Turbo Limach Show and Give Them Applause where she won the first place in 1996. She enrolled in the Faculty of law in Osijek, but fell out because of singing. She moved to Zagreb and joined the band Funky Town where she sang for two years. Her friends from the group XL invited her to film her first commercial. Today you can hear her voice in many commercials of Croatian successful firms. She caught the eye of a producer who targets younger audiences Baby Dooks from Bolesna braca and offered her collaboration. By the end of October 2002 her first album Trenutak istine(Moment of Truth) (Menart) came out. 2004 she released another successfull Album called Moj Svijet (My World) with Songs like Kao Kazna Bozija feat. the amazin Singer Jacques Houdek, a powerful Ballad with much emotions. In the end of 2005 she won the yearly "Zadarfestival" with her up-to-date Single "Klik". Now, say welcome to the new year 2006 - this gon' be Ivana Kindl's year.
