I am the band!!! I do all programming of midi and tracks. I guess the more the more i think about it, I am Yanni and Kitaro of Metal.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Been a one man band for 15 years now
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I have played a few parties and weddings. I prefer recording only because it allows for more creativity. Live is has it's nice moments.
Your musical influences
Steve Vai (my favorate guitarist), Kiko Loureiro (my second favorate), just about every 80's rock shredder, classic rock of the 70's and 60's (due to my parents always playing it when I was in the car with him when i was younger), Metallica (only Kill em all to Justice), Megadeth, Twelve Girls Band from China, Arab Oriental Music, Indian Classical Music, Far Eastern (Japanese and Chinese and Mongolian, Etc) Oriental Music, Flamenco Music, Daft Punk...Many influences.....Pretty much much anything with a loud shredding guitar or a strong eastern ethnic flavor.
What equipment do you use?
Ibanez RG for guitar, Kramer Guitar, Flamenco Guitar that was handmade in Barcelona, Spain, Yamaha keyboard for midi, Yamaha Electric drums for midi, Various virtual instruments, Ableton Live, Sonar x 9, for guitar amps i use Lepou free sims and voxengo for my cab impulse loader
Anything else?
Basically i am shredding guitarist trying to incorporate it with different beats and flavors.
