Ironwood was formed in 1973, when back-to-the-landers discovered musical interests in common. David Hollis Morgan, guitar, banjo &vocals, Douglas Joshua Guilar, drums vocals, Jeffrey Hersk, guitar & vocals, Robert Wills, guitar, vocals and songwriting, Richard Wills, bass & vocals. Later slimmed down to a trio, Richard switched to drums, and Robert to bass. Recorded Randy the Lad at Snowcan Studio - most copies of disc burned with the old Riverview Inn. Years later, Ironwood reformed to play a benefit for Paul the Painter, with Dan Major on bass.Band/artist history
