Ipomoea Violacea

Ipomoea Violacea is the continuing evolution of my music, growing in complexity and detail, adding new instruments and technologies and incorporating new influences all the time. The purpose of IV is only to be as expressive as I can possibly be, and constantly expand that. As pretentious as that sounds, just give my music a listen. :^D
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I.V. is the third evolution of my solo projects, and is by far the most complex and expressive. The first of the three, Julie Flash, was a simple acoustic rock effort, two-tracked through a computer. Thatcher! followed that, and went into more complex guitar and vocals. I.V. continues the sequence, but taken into a four-track studio (Leadfoot Gurt Studio) in my basement. Now I work with complex sounds, like the feedback on 'Limiter Limiter' to produce more intense and emotional music than was possible before.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Never have. It's difficult to play four or more interweaving parts at once.
