Invasion (Chapel Hill)
Invasion was formed in early 2006 by guitarists Joe Mazzitelli and Riley Miller, and if you haven't heard them yet, you haven't been within 500 feet of a gig. Mixing the start and stop melodies of bands like Mogwai and My Bloody Valentine with the blips, screeches, and roars of Spacemen 3 and early Sonic Youth. Two guitarists with 8 amps, and a new drummer for the summer, JD Reeves. Invasion is always happy to play shows, so if you'd like to tack us onto the bill of your upcoming gig, we'd be more than happy to play.
