Intrabyte
"Intrabyte" Is one of my gaming characters. Primarily in Quake 3. It was my addiction to Quake 3 that inspired me to write this different type of music. It is experimental and at the same time allows me to play my guitar heavy. I think it is a little lite in that it could be well suited to a not so dark video game while still being a bit heavy. If any game companies or movie titles ,out their are interested in my style and would like to consider my work get in touch.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
All of this music was recorded in my apartment on a computer with 3 soundcards and external hardware like Synth module, Effects units, Drum module and some other stuff. I used Cakewalk and swear by it. But I use version 6. I like this version over all the others. Sound Forge is also a great software that I used and strongly recommend.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I have played in several crazy bands but never anything really happening.
Your musical influences
I am a born hard guitarist songwriter. I was designed to be these things. The first band I ever got into was Black Sabbath and then I started likeing all the killer guitarist from the 70s and early 80s. I also am influenced by serveral old school punk bands like Plasmatics, Black Flag, Suicidal Tendencies, Circle Jerks, Anti Nowhere League.
