Everyday, we fight with ourselves....we fight with who we are, our past mistakes, the circumstances we can't control. Sometimes, however, we welcome those things and it makes another part of ourselves...changes us into another lifeform. I have been beaten, betrayed, done wrong and been wronged. That was until 1997....when I became The International Champion Of the Night, or the I.C.O.N...the product of constant battles with myself and the dramatic cinema that has been known as my life..I vowed to save the genre of hip hop from being tainted and destroyed... This is the intro to Dark Rap....it's real hip-hop mixed with soul, hardcore, creativity, and a bit of raunchiness mixed with humanism....the way it should be...
