p.s. thought i'd just pop back and say i really like the dual vocal tracks on deserve a little more, a really swirling background to the main vocal line that's almost instrummental in sound. impressive stuff!!!

Hi Anne-Marie, the lovely Maria recommended I come over and listen to some of your music and I'm glad I did! there's a maturity to your lyrics that impressively belies your age. There's such a sweetness in the piano line and delivery of the vocals on "back in the day" that's quite heart wrenching; a lovely tune and so sensitively sung as well, the piano playing is beautiful it just fits the lyrics and your singing so well. Am so glad I've been able to listen to your music, I will go and have a listen to some more now! Take Care,
love

Hello again Anne-Marie,
thank you for coming over, yes I thought maybe you hadn't been around for a while, hope you are ok, I have met up with someone here who I really think you would like, her name is GirlB, maybe you can find her or you can link up from our message board, you both write such beautiful lyrics & express your music so well, I will try to get your link & see if she can come over to listen to your material too.
With best wishes,
keep up the great work,
From Maria xx

Hello AM!
Hey another meeting place, the old dm gang in here for coffee!
I just listened to your song 'Back in the days' after catching your link at GT's board, and I'm stunned by this amazingly beautiful song, your lyrics are something else, just simply breathtaking, the line 'Being a kid is weightless' has got to be one of the best lyrics I have heard this year, you are going to have a great future in writing if there is any fairness in this business, and you certainly deserve to.
Keep up the great work & I'll be back to listen more, your voice carries the song to us so gently, it's just lovely, thank you & have fun. Best wishes from Maria xx

Hi AM,
I'm quite frustrated because my media player won't open your uploads. But I did read your lyrics... excellent! You're one of those rare people who just seem to have a different word for everything, rather than what the rest of the world would think of using. Your writing reminds me a little of Maria Daines' mellow stuff. And that's a huge compliment! (check out Maria Daines here on soundclick if you haven't already). Great work.

Dear Lady McCabe,
We were all fourteen at a time and we all have grown to where we are... just as you will go and grow.
Please, Miss Pretty Lady, you have something so few enjoy... talent. It's yours - free. Exploit it. Be all that you can be. You are blessed.
Cute, too.

Hello Miss McCabe,
We just spoke with our friends, The Tailgaters, who mentioned your work. So we came to hear.
We read about your ten years of piano training and it's evident in your chordal structure that you have a natural talent with the keys. However, that talent is set aside in view of your emotional maturity. Your lyrics are profound for a writer of any age... all the more, when considering your age.
We agree with our friends, The Gater Boyz, that you are a musical bud which will bloom with formidable beauty. You are years ahead of yourself and as you grow from "Miss Anne-Marie" into "Miz McCabe", we shall witness such a rare talent!
You go, Girl!!!

Miz Anne-Marie wrote:"I'm an attempting singer/songwriter from an imaginary island called Wales."

So we figgers Miz Anne-Marie is a imaginary purty lady songwriter! Like Sir Richard Burton is a imaginary movie legend! Haw!!
We's kiddin' Ma'am! We seen your songs and it's hard to believe yall is 14! Yikes! The pitcher must be yer older sis, huh? And the powerful, insightful lyrics of yall's songs was wrote by a 20-year-old?
Yall has all the raw materials to be what you want to be, Miz Anne-Marie!
Yall said: "I'm not a band dammit!" Well, Ma'am, of yall aint a band, then neither is Billy Joel or Elton John or Sting or Paul McCartney!! You write and play and sing! That makes you a bonafide band!!
Yall's a delightful young woman, Ma'am! Keep writin'!! Keep writin'!!

Hi Anne Marie, I finally got a new tune up! A Christas song for the season. It's called 'Christmas on the beach'. Sort of a beach bum anthem! Please stop by if you get a chance. -Mickey Grasso
