INSANE PRODUCTIONS

We some strugglin underground artists from Baton Rouge, LA.

Years ago, DJ INSANE was remixing music. At that time, he was remixing music under the name DJ Slim Coker. He was only in 6th grade, & was an Eminem fan, so go figure. He met South Coast Coalition which are 2 local, big-named rappers. They modivated him to start rapping. He then changed his name to DJ INSANE. He was still a DJ, & still remixing music, but also rapping. He soon after created a record label called INSANE PRODUCTIONS. He was the only one on the label for about a year. He then signed Mun-E, & Belicit from Amite, Louisiana. Belicit quit rapping. It was DJ INSANE, & Mun-E for awhile. DJ INSANE began working on an album with DKillaH of Killa Platinum Records, but when it was almost done, the album was canned. Then, DJ INSANE met with Bandana Slim, & Big Boy. He went to school with Bandana Slim, & Big Boy was a friend of his. They both wanted to get into rapping. Don't mix Big Boy with the bigger-named rapper, Big Boi. DJ INSANE was constantly recording Bandana Slim, & Big Boy. He later met Lil' D at McKinley High (same school), & Lil' D introduced his cousins Raw Spit, & Raw Dawg. Together, they had a group called XRB (X-Rated Boyz). The click was real strong. Big Boy was later shot & killed. R.I.P. Big Dawg. After that, Bandana Slim decided he was going to quit rapping for awhile. At this point, the people on the label was DJ INSANE, Mun-E, & XRB. DJ INSANE later met Young Hustle, & Lil' A-Mar. They were constantly on the grind recording at the studio. That's when the label really started up and going. Then, we later met Jeremy Dunn. That is his real name, but in the Baton Rouge City (BRC), Jeremy Dunn was a real popular name, so he kept his real name as his rap name. Then, we later met jenNjuice through mutual friends. She could sing & rap real well. She got put on the label. We then came to the decision that to stay on the label, you must release an album per year. Mun-E wasn't attempting to put in that work, so we had to drop him from the label. The label is real strong now, & constantly working every day. We have multiple albums in the works.
