Insane Capone
Straight out of Kansas, this 26 year old MC has been spittin rhymes since the age of 10 years old. After signing to independant label New Life Records, Capone made his debut on label mate Drastik's album "Trying To Live". Capone then put out two succesful mixtapes, "The Underground Volume I" & "The Underground Vol. II" under his own company Insane Productions. These 2 mixtapes and countless live performances helped solidify Capone's place as one of the premier artist in Kansas. Next came the New Life Records compilation "Bilistic Presents... New Life Ryders". His talent stood out on tracks like, "Roll With Me" and "Murder On My Mind", showing lyrical talents as well as his versatility on 5 of the albums 18 tracks. 2008 should be an even biggier year for Capone. First, will be the release of his highly anticipated 3rd mixtape "Hustle Season", and he is currently working on his debut album "Guilty Til Proven Innocent". Keep an eye out, because the industry will be forever changed.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yeah, done alot of local shows around Kansas venues such as: The Pool Room, Addis Ababa, The Phoggy Dog, Club 815, and The Gaslight Tavern. My favorite was definitely going to Dallas for the Hot Import Nights Tour. Fast cars, hot girls, what more could you as for in a show?
