Inner Threat

Inner Threat is a DC based Rock/Prog/Punk band

In early 2004, Eric, Joe, and a drummer got together and formed a little rock/punk band. After a few months, the band broke out as the Anti-Perfectionists (Yes, it was an awful name, hence why it isn't still our name) playing a little gig at Blake High School in Silver Spring. Since, the band auditioned a guitarist and a singer. The singer didn't go well, but the guitarist we still have today.

After a few months, tensions grew and our drummer left. It was terrible timing, because the band's second gig was in less than a month away. A good friend of Eric's helped us out drumming (Kevin of local band Static Void) for the show which turned out to be a success. After about two months, a friend of Conor's, Zach, was looking for a band and so we had a few practices with him and decided this is the guy we've been looking for.

Since Zach joined, the band has been writing songs consistantly and played another show last summer that was an even bigger success. The band recently recorded some of its best songs (several more than the ones up) and expects to being putting out them on a demo within the next few months. The band plans to play several gigs over the next few months with other local bands at various local venues throughout. Check us out!
