Band bio wrote by Sound Riot: No shadow of doubts, Infernum, with an elitist fusion of unholy music and extremist ideology, became one of the most promising and well-respected Polish Black Metal hordes, back in those dark and incendiary 1990s. Infernum was created in 1992 by Anextiomarus and Tom Balrog (Oppressor/Baphomet's Throne). In 1993 they released their first Demo entitled "The Dawn Will Never Come". After few months they recorded the "Damned Majesty" Cassette. On this album you can hear keyboards which were created by Rob Darken (Graveland). Between 1993 and 1994 Tom Barlog abandoned Infernum. He became replaced by Capricornus. In 1994 Infernum released their legendary full-length album "Taur-Nu-Fuin" through Astral Wings Records; this album was re-issued by Supernal Music from England actually. The band members featured on this recording were: Anextiomarus on guitars, vocal and bass, Capricornus on drums and Rob Darken on Keyboards. During the recording of the next album Anextiomarus amused oneself with some serious wholesome problems that the band had to suspend the activity. In 2002 Peter (Thy Worshiper) and Anextiomarus created an unholy Death Metal project named Dagon, and they recorded a Mini album. The winter 2002 was the time for the resurrection of Infernum. Anextiomarus and Charon made a gathering to decide about the return from the band in December 2002. To reborn Infernum, joined Necromanticus, Wolf and Exterminus (Gutted Corpse) in the end of January 2003. So, Infernum begun to work on a new album called "The Curse". The album was recorded in April 2004. The line-up from "The Curse" is: Anextiomarus on guitars and vocal, Necromanticus on guitars, Charon on drums, Wolf on bass and Exterminus on keyboards. During the night of Walpurgia in April 30, 2004 Anextiomarus committed suicide. However, the rest of the band decided to continue their work in Infernum, which was the last will of Anextiomarus. In October 2005, Sound Riot Records got in touch with Necromanticus and after some negotiations; Infernum got signed to Sound Riot Records for 3 albums. That was an honour to Sound Riot Records gets Infernum to their roster as they were the only one label to distribute "Damned Majesty" as well as other releases of Witching Hour Productions in the Brazil around 1994, almost 200 cassettes of this title were sold there. As the band finally decided to release "The Curse" since the Anextiomarus death so, Sound Riot will release it in the beginning of 2006. A new album will come to out later in 2006.
