Immortal Thug
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
My older brother was an underground D.J. in the 90's and my uncle was a break-dancer in the late 80's. Together, they would perform and record mix-tapes for the community. Eventually their love for the art rubbed off on me. When I was twelve years old, my cousin and I recorded our first material over hip-hop instrumentals. In 2002, I recorded a low-budget album entitled "The Messiah." In between freestyling, battles,I have made guest appearences on local projects such as M.M.A.'s "The Jump-off," DJ Diamond's "Diamond Legacy" compilation, Pesos' "F.D.E, Da Heat," Eddie Night's "Nightmare" album, and Vanilla Nice's compilation album entitled "All of a Sudden..." I am currently in the process of recording my first studio album entitled "Lethal," which will be released in January 2005.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I will be performing at my record-release-party in November. Stay tuned for the date and location.
