Immortal Alice, New England's premier Indie Pop trio is coming your way!! Touring through 2001, check them out when they come to your town!! And bring some beer!!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Alice formed in 1991. Has released several indies and is now supporting their new release, Armageddon A Go-Go, on Tank Records. The band has sold over 2000 copies of their 1995 release Fleshengine and is well on their way to doubling that with the new CD.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play all over the place, but mostly at our favorite haunt, Bridge Street Station in Fairhaven, Massachussetts. It's close to home, cozy and friendly and they have a TON of wierd beers! We've had some great shows there, and memorable moments too many to list, but my favorite is when two drunks started snogging in the ladies room with the door wide open. It was just pricelss.
Your musical influences
The Pixies, Afghan Whigs, Husker Du, The Specials, lots of 50's bands and of course, The Beatles.
What equipment do you use?
Jim Reilly: Guitars/Vocals: Jim Uses DEAN guitars exclusively, Line 6 Amplification, and Shure Mics. Peter Breault: Drums and Percussion: Pete uses Yamaha Drums exclusively, as well as Zildjian Cymbals and Vic Firth sticks. Troy Morin: Bass Guitar: Troy uses Dan Electro Longhorn Basses and SWR Amplification exclusively.
