Illusions of a Goddess
Illusions of a Goddess is a tribute show, honoring the legend of Marilyn Monroe. These recordings are some of the songs performed for the holidays in addition to many of the songs Marilyn Monroe performed in her movies and public performances.
Karen often performs as Marilyn with other Tribute artists like Elvis, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland etc. Including some great duets and group numbers.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I have been performing my Marilyn Tribute for over 10 years and enjoy it more and more as I grow as an artist.
I've had so many wonderful opportunities to perform, its impossible to list them all!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I sing live, always, in the style of Marilyn Monroe. Music is either instrumental tracks or a live orchestra.
Your musical influences
Well, Marilyn Monroe of course! Many people are unaware that she was a talented singer as well as a gifted actress.
What equipment do you use?
High heels, red lips and dangerous curves.
