Illuminaut Productions
Illuminaut Productions is actually a record label that is going to be taking the underground scene by storm, mark my words. Right now our main artists are electronic and hiphop producer oNGo, rappers Clone and Sarx, and bass player Josh Howle. However, other artists, such as Abadawn, and Orange Dust can be expected to release things through Illuminaut.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We all sort of networked. Josh Howle and Sarx are stepbrothers. Sarx, oNGo and Clone are all friends from high school. Sarx and Abadawn work at the same place. You just find likeminded musicians as you go through life I suppose.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Some of us have played small parties and the such. We will be booking some actual shows in the near future.
Your musical influences
They range from Bach to Duke Ellington to Pink Floyd to Pearl Jam to KRS ONE.
What equipment do you use?
Max/MSP, drum machines, reason, renoise, a few other odds and ends.
