ILLType (from upstate NY)
ILLType consists of Justice on the pen & pad and W. Steele on the wheels & machines . Our first release was an EP called 'Street Therapy' back in June 2002 . Later in November of that year we released our first full length project 'End of the Period' . For 2003 we did a small tour in Cali and then headed back home to NY to get back in the studio . Our second full length 'The Distance' was completed January 2004 . We are also affiliates of an upstate NY hiphop movement called PitchControlMusic which we have a collaboration from a different PCM member on every song on our latest LP 'Propaganda' that we dropped in Oct. of 2004 .
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We've done plenty of shows on both coasts of the US . We think doing shows is an extremely crucial part of being a musician . And yes . . . we love doing 'em .
