Ill-Literate is an emcee of 10 years experience in spoken word, text/audio battles both on the net and on the stage. Sounds heavily inspired by Talib, Kanye, Mos Def, Pharoah Monche, Aesop Rock, Atmosphere, Nas, KRS one, etc.

10 YEARS OF HIP HOP ON THE NET AND IN THE MUSIC WORLD - FROM MAINE WITH A SHORT STINT IN PITTSBURGH - I HAVE AND DO BATTLE, FREESTYLE, PRODUCE, MIX, AND I WRITE ALL MY OWN MATERIAL...PEACE AND RESPECT..ill
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I play live as requested, I have a young family and travel and do shows only for the fans...any interest than holla at me through contact info.

sounds like:
New School Hip Hop
a la Kanye West, Talib K, Aesop Rock, etc
A little like Hyphy, the sound from cali, specifically the bay area
A little spoken word
Alittle freestyle and battle experience as I've won 100's of text battles as MOJO and come in 2nd and 3rd in two emcee battles in the past 3 years.
What equipment do you use?
I use a CPU with old school turntables, cool edit, several mixing programs, a PS2, several studio quality mics and a home studio- Revolution Records -copyright 2006
