The illego-alienz consist of MVP, Strezz-Free and K-Mo-G. It was once a live band but due to anti-immigrant laws the band was deported across the border for not having current residency cards. We are in the process of getting their greencards reinstated. The musical style ranges from latin-hiphop to some funky reggae. The Alienz are based out of the Live Musical Capital of the World, Austin, Texas. They are managed by Manny Ramirez and Michael Flores. These two poets can spit fire with the best of them in spanish or english. They have garnered regional success and will continue building their legacy. They are apart of a bigger movement that will push the RAZA into the future. Not only do they create music, they are also screenwriters who have been busy writing "Tarilaz", a feature film depicting their lives in their hometown. The documentary for "Tarilaz legends" is a seperate film project that will be released first. It will capture the people in Pecos, Texas that made an impact on the town as well as the culture. The music will be scored by Ground Up Records. The poets are just getting started and ready to build an empire. Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The real story began as we were walking through the Chihuahuan desert trying to get to Tarilas, Texas, at the tender ages of 9 and 10. We were abducted by a transparent spacecraft the size of a football field. The so-called aliens that we refer too are very much alike to humans. We were later dropped off near the Pecos River outside of Tarilaz, Texas. The knowledge that was given is to be passed down to reveal ancient secrets and prophecies. They will come back but we first have to complete the mission and that is to SAVE THE PLANET!!!!! and our weapon of choice will be MUSIC!!!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We have played the chittlin circuit, menudo circuit as well as the Tripa circuit across the Southwest.
