formed in the summer of 2002, if this continues is a four-piece band out of markham, ontario. with diverse influences ranging from punk, folk, hardcore, and metal, ITC strives to create and develop a sound of its own. after a recent lineup shuffle, the band is stronger than ever and ready to show everyone what they're about.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
in 2001, a band was formed in a wilfrid laurier university residence by the name of rance. when this project dissolved in 2002, two members - guitarist chris jones and bassist bryan shinn - teamed up with bryan's high school friends guitarist/vocalist ryan bolger and drummer tim shaw. for two years the band wrote music and performed the odd show, however in 2004 bryan chose to leave the band. ryan switched over to the bass and tim's little brother jay stepped up to fill the vacant guitar role. the chemistry in the new lineup is evident, the new material is awesome, and 2004 is looking to be a breakout year for this up and coming band.
