Idle
Hi and we are Idle. Idle have been together now for about 2 years now. Idle are:
James Clark (16): Vocals, Guitar.
Will Rose (16): Vocals.
Matt Garnham (16): Guitar.
Jack Gargrave (14): Bass.
Robin Freeman (16): Drums.
I would describe Idle as a metal band and I hope that our mp3 lives up to that so listen and enjoy.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The band Idle first started out as Koma with Robin (14) and Jack (12). I, James Clark (14) was invited to a band practice and asked to sing and play the guitar then I invited Matt (14) into the band to be the second guitarist and then a while after asked Will (15) to help sing. And then Idle was born.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play at The Soundhouse in Colchester. This is an amazing venue which unfortunately may be closing down but hopefuly with everyones support we can keep it open. Idle's first gig was a BOTB at The Twist in Colchester we were up against three other bands and we won.....which was nice.
Your musical influences
I love heavy, fast music like Drum and Bass and all Metal. I would say that bands like slipknot first inspired me to pick up the guitar but its bands like The Haunted where I get my influences from.
