Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I Decay is a five piece metal band from Clio, Michigan that formed in early February 2004. Their sound blends the new East Coast Hardcore grooves and rhythms with the attitude and poise of the eighties thrash metal movement. Their guitar riffs are technical, complicated and fast, with lots of melody. The thrashing bass mixed with pounding double-bass and elaborate drums beats topped off with low growls and high glass shattering screams gives them a brutal sound ment to destroy. The group has gone through many changes in the year they have been together; line-up changes, replacing a bass player and upgrading their drummer are just a couple of the tests they have had to over come. But now the official line up of Mike Anderson on rhythm guitar, Tim Williams on lead guitar, Bret Williams on bass guitar, "Gumby" (Kyle Gunther) on low vocals, "Troll" (Ruben Martinez) on high vocals, and Jay Fernelius on drums. With the new line up everyone is more comfortable than before and the creativity is through the roof. New songs are the latest on I Decay’s “To-Do List”. Keep an eye out for I Decay, for when they come to play, they come PUNISH!!
