My name is icis nizz(but most people call me Rozswell, or roz).
I never know how to describe my music, I just make it out of passion. Abstract experimental Underground Hip-hop is how some people have labeled my sound so I've kinda stuck to that title(Damm long eh?). I have worked on many projects in the past including a group called Blind Curve, and created my own label know as headlinatracks releasing three independent albums. I started to make music when I was about seventeen and still continue my journey through sound and thought to this day, now 22. Something deep inside comes out through my music and is like crack to a fiend. Without it I'd be dead or in a mental institution, wishing kraft dinner was steak, and pillows were clouds. I thrive on experimenting with sounds and letting my brain ozze out into my songs. Some people think I'm crazy, others strange, others talented. I do not make music for financial gain but for the sake of creation. Most hip-hop gets on my nerves, so when called a 'rapper' I cringe. I listen to some hip-hop but mostly find myself intrigued by the less known artists who never really have a defined style and keep true to themselves(rather than run around like stars or programmed robots trying to sound like other artists 'rapping' over sad representations of other peoples beats, yelling slogans, and catching rabbits). I love sharing my music with people at shows and selling my albums for cheap out of my backpack. My last albums haven't left the peg but my next one due December called 'dead bugs...' will be available across Canada, some states, and online. If you like commercial repetitive music with catchy chorus lines you probably wont like my music. I don't own a bmw or think my music is 'hot'. Infact I take the bus and like the sound of confusion. I have been featured in magazines such as Uptown, and have performed at too many events to mention. I have the smallest ego, and have been said to make 'dope beats'. All my songs are self produced and I have worked with many artists who you probably never herd of.

Have you performed in front of an audience?
I used to play live a lot when I released my last albums but for the last little while I've been working hard on the new one. I will be doing a ton of shows after December when 'dead bugs...' will hopefully drop(if I can scrape together the funds by then to print it). I don't really enjoy standing on stage to much but force myself too, since people like my music and keep coming. I just like the connection with the audience. There's nothing like it.
Your musical influences
I'm into anything that sounds as if it is made for the sole purpose of creation, not profit. I enjoy all genres of music but my favorites are Punk Rock, Underground Hip-hop, Rock, Folk, Electronica, Trip-Hop & Metal.

It was my honor to have my rhythm guitar sampled for Dry. Such an amazing wordsmith. Jennae was also amazing... these guys made me humble.
