I gotta mention one more thing. I like your tune on the MG100HDFX. What's kinda funny about that is that is the exact amp head I was going to buy a few weeks back. My old JCM took a crap on me and there was really nothing I could do.
When I walked into my local Guitar Center, they had the last AVT150H in the store (Marshall has discontinued the series) and it was marked down to $329. I couldn't believe my luck. Needless to say, that's the one I walked out of the store with. I only use it for live gigs, and have a completely different setup for studio recording...but let me tell you...I LOVE that amp.It is REALLY, REALLY cool that at 16, you're drawing on the same influences that I drew from....and I'm 36. A lot of young guitarists these days won't look back to the players that changed the music for good. Ed was one of those players.
