i am lotus
Lotus, a classically trained pianist, as well as a vocalist and composer, heads her own band which is currently playing the DFW metroplex. This group combines each individual’s style with songs written by Lotus and Stephen Trevino, and together they overcome the restrictive standards placed on female-lead bands today. Influenced by artists such as Ani Difranco, Sarah McLachlan and Tori Amos, Lotus’ mellow style combines sultry vocals and rocking guitar parts.
