Hyperborea
Hyperborea is a creative collective in many fields, formed by Willem and Madeleine ( husband and wife ).
The music is meant to be a kind of sound scape for our work as 3D artist's.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Started to compose music when we decided to bring out a DVD with a big collection of our art works. We are now working on this and want to create a kind of virtual trip into our world by means of video and sound.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play live in our studio to capture the atmosphere of our 3D work and translate that into sound.
Your musical influences
Brian Eno, Tom Waits, Philip Glass and Simeon Tenholt and others.
What equipment do you use?
Lots of different software like: Tracktion, Atmosphere and Hypersonic.
