Human Beings
TheHumanBeings are London-based duo Igal (vocals, acoustic guitar) and Ruth (vocals, flute, glockenspiel). Having built up a healthy following as regulars on the London acoustic scene over the past 2 years, Igal and Ruth teamed teamed up with programmer/producer Tobi Lustigman to create their debut EP - Regardless of the Way We Are.

Your musical influences
There are so many artists, past and present, whos influence has been vital to the creation of this band, but likening us to any one in particlar is difficult.
What equipment do you use?
For live shows we remain (almost) purely acoustic using Steel-string guitar, flute, glockenspiel, electric guitar and vocals. For the recordings we blended many instruments such as accordion, cello, synths and tibetan bells, belnding the live acoustic style against subtle, ambient electronics and audio programming. "Tobi's studio is eqipped with some great gear for this. We are recording onto a Pro Tools Mix Plus system running on a G4 Mac, using outboard gear such as the Akai S3200XL, Nord Modular and the Oberheim Matrix sound module, our little gem."
