Human Atrocity

Started out three name changes ago as a complete joke band, turned into more of a hobby with a vague sociopolitical message and a shitload of influences.
Started out as Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis about three years ago. During this period I was in the 'complete joke' stage, where anything I did was fucking horrible on purpose, and because I didn't have the faintest idea what I was doing anyway. After a while I actually started to like playing the guitar, and changed my project's name to Cumshot Messiah to fit with my shitty goregrind roots. Now at this time I had around 7 three-way split albums with two other one-man projects. Near the end of this half-serious project, I started taking interest in social issues, politics, etc., and changed it to Human Atrocity. I brushed up my style a bit, learned a shitload of things, and made it just a little bit more serious of a project. That's not to say that I take this thing completely seriously because the extreme outcome of that is some dickhead who doesn't want you listening to his music because he wants to remain underground for whatever hard-on it gives him, to know that nobody will ever note his existence and he'll just fade into obscurity until the end of his natural life. Anyways, that's basically what I'm trying to avoid.
While my influences are 99.9% metal and grind, don't expect something with the same amount of aggression, speed, or even any vocals whatsoever. My style is completely instrumental, can be somewhat doomy in some instances, and tends to have a little bit of atmosphere. Most of my songs have little nuances that can actually help the feel of the entire songs. But of course, in some cases those nuances can be annoying and downright unlistenable. It's up to you to decide whether or not you enjoy the music. I do it for fun.
I have typed out a rather in-depth analysis of my gear and all the specifications for it. If you're interested, and use Soulseek, message either Slidebite or FETUS SLAMMA for the text file.
If anyone's interested in the history, reasoning, or any other info regarding this project, just email me at slidebite@myway.com
