HSM Production had humble beginnings in the garage of two bedroom house on the now famed Humboldt Street. With the leadership of Big Zo, HSM Productions began their ascent into Hip Hop's elite rap groups. Their mix of amazing beats, introspective lyrics, and hard-edged attitude would set the tone for things to come. The volatile mix of real life and effort fused into what would become the first hit song played out of every car audio system in Ontario, "Universal Struggle" With his prolific performance Shermi Sham would prove to be the mouth piece the Inland Empire desperately needed. Big Zo also built his reputation in the streets along with Wets. As the streets acknowledged this respect on a personal level, this same respect was given to HSM Productions on a proffessional level. In what had began as a simple attempt to de-throne HSM, had turned into an all-out war that HSM would simply have too much firepower to lose. This foolish threat came via a mixtape diss at Wets and offshoot crew The Block2. An immediate response was all that was necessary to prove who belonged and who didn't. Shermi Sham had successfully proven to be a rapper to reckon with. On another note Jizz Beats turned out to be the music-making-machine HSM would rely on for such tasks. His great production on such hits as "Universal Struggle" earned him the distinct award of "Producer of the Year" as awarded by Talento Musical music magazine. The most current offering in music was HSM's second mixtape that went untitled featuring Wets, Junior, and no other than HSM's own Shermi Sham was in direct response to two loudmouth MC's who did not learn quick the first time around. Shermi Sham opened the CD with his own rendition of Young Buck's "Shorty Wanna Ride" entitled "They don't Wanna Ride." followed by a freestyle by Wets and a remix of "Moment Of Clarity" by Junior. Once again HSM proved to be top dog in the ruthless business that is rap. Plans for the future include a compilation album featuring the best the I E has to offer and the full-lengthed debut of Shermi Sham titled "Red Star REVOLUTIONS"
