I started playing live at age 18 at local venues in New Jersey. During college, I played at campus functions and fraternity parties. My most memorable live gig was our Spring Arts concert at Franklin and Marshall College where we played to a packed house. I love playing live because while on stage you get an energy from the crowd that is very inspiring and it takes your playing to new levels. I feel playing live is what we do best.
My main influences are Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton and B.B. King. Other influences include Warren Haynes, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Derek Trucks, Joe Bonamassa, and Jonny Lang.
Guitars: Fender '62 Reissue Strat, Fender Roadhouse Strat, Gibson Les Paul Custom, and Gibson SG Standard. Amps: Fender Prosonic with vintage Fender 4x12 cabinet. Check out my website www.HowardLeeEdwards.com for my complete live rig!
I look forward to seeing everyone on the road during our upcoming tour!
