Houstonz Thug Angel
Thug Angel, or as she calls herself "Tha Lady Bo$$" is 23 years young with over 13 years experience in music. Although it has been a bumpy road, Bo$$ Lady still continues to make song after song regardless if she ends up getting signed or not.
"It doesn't matter if I get signed, regardless, I'm gonna get my money and do my thang by myself. Ain't never needed help from no one."
The Houston native was born in Baton Rouge LA and grew up all around the states, perhaps giving her a different look on all types of hip hop. She started writing her first song at 9 and continued poetry writing and eventually turned her poems into songs. Getting the inspiration from a fellow student at West Carteret High School, in Morehead City, NC. She began to battle rap at the age of 14 and then as time went forward started getting serious.
" I don't know what triggered my writing. I came from a very abusive unstable home. I have been through it all. I have watched people around me die and hurt themselves. I try to show my feelings and anger through my music, probably why it seems so street. Walk in my shoes and see what I see, I just want the people to realize that I am real and that I understand."
Coming from an abusive household, her father, the later her step father, T.A. was out on the streets at the age of 15.
"Things got really rough. I felt as if I went home I would just keep getting dealt the same pain from my father or my new step father. I couldn't keep going through it, and mama said 'if you don't like it get out.' I'm really thankful that my life happened the way it did though and that I made it through. And I AM living proof that you can make it from nothing to something, whether legal or illegal. I went from sleeping on cardboard outside 'Search' to havin my own shit, car place money..Galleria shopping sprees. I did that. I don't regret it a bit."
As she grew older, she started to get real serious about her music. Changing her style and working more on being unique.

Your musical influences
What is my musical influence? That would be my feelings at the moment. Whatever the mood is what kind of song I bring. Music brings out all my feelings on paper. I love it.
Who are my musical influences? Too many to name. There is so many people I respect, other than just rappers.
