Hotshot Rocket
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I started out by writing music when I was 12. I maily wrote rock, but eventually turned to writing hip-hop/rap when I was 14 after doing a school project. I had to write a rap song about World War II and it turned out to be very good so I turned my focus more towards rap. I started recording a little bit later that year after learning how to make instrumentals using FL Studio. Once I was 16 I was relatively well known in my immediate area (Kernersville, NC) for my music. I put out a mixtape called "Mom Won't Like This One" due to it's sexually suggestive nature, but ended up not liking the project and discontinued distibution after about 50 copies were made. Instead of focusing on putting out projects such as mixtapes, or EP's, I've been focusing more on just making music as I can put it into a "mixtape" format later. I'm currently taking a break from music (and everything else) due to some personal issues in my life, but I'll be back soon.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I play live any chance I can get. Mostly at local artist venues around the triad area of North Carolina. I love performing my music.
