Hostel Singers

band is a dedication to fellow hostelers who enjoy hostel life and try to make the most of it. The band was formed in Jan'07 when Siddarth, Rattan and Murai got together at the auspicious hostels of SP Jain, Mumbai.

The band starts its activities at 2 a.m (thatz rite! at midnight!!) to take a break from assignments and ppt preparations for a richly deserving MBA degree at SPJIMR, Mumbai. It plays bollywood and western music/songs alike (watever that means). Latest hits, old melodies, catchy ads - they all figure on our menu.

On some Wednesday nights a new tune is formed, some weirdo lyrics written and an original song is ready by Thursday evening. The band has 3 original songs to its credit which will be uploaded on the site shortly.

Have a great time listening to the Hostel Singers SPJIMR ! Hope u enjoy listening 2 : Singer, Sober, Stylish, Spiritual, Nature-lover. This chap is full of contradictory characteristics, and is arguably the most eligible bachelor in the band.

: Cheerful, energetic, optimist. The only monkey (mischief monger, irritating, humorous) that plays guitar, and plays it really well ! This dude comes up with gud original tracks when he makes mistakes while playing existing tunes.

: Incredibly good singer, has a 'macho' voice that covers a wide range of scale. This man is married, and is on the telephone most of the time talking to his boss back home!
