Band/artist history
In the year 2000 A.D members of New Zealand Punk/metal bands Nefarious, Horror Business, 1080, and Valhalla Crossroads stitched together the ultimate Rock n Roll frenkenstein monster, They called it Horror Story. On Halloween 2000 the recorded 17 songs that became known as the now legend, "Monsterpiece" album, Released in 2001 by Local independent Label, Demon nation. Halloween 2002 saw the band back in the makeshift underground studio known as "The Dungeon" where they recorded 10 new songs and re-recorded 10 songs (from monsterpiece) combined with their music video for "Tombstone" (made in a graveyard at a cost of $100) and full colour portrait art. The band returned on Halloween 2003 with "Graverobbers from Outer Space" the 20 track + enhanced vid C.D released by Demon Nation/HellDoll Music The theatrical face painted fiends also infiltrated NZ Televisions "Space" and "XSTV" including the "Best of's ..." shows of both. As well as constant live gigs the band are working on a new album and video for an upcoming DVD. "Horror Story come across as a cartoon combination of Elvis and The Misfits"- Rip it Up Magazine. "The spirit of the Misfits, The Ramones, Motorhead and the Cramps is alive and well"- Real Groove Magazine.
