Horizonte Lied
An Alternative new-wave and synthpop band, Horizonte Lied also incorporates elements from industrial and darkwave, and other various sub-genres of electronic music. With the musical and lyrical talents of Ernesto Du Solier, Jes?s Garc?a, Bernardo Garza and the production and
programming skills of Alex Ezert, the band hopes to offer interesting electronic music to the scene.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
- Formed in 1992 - Remained 'behind the scenes' until 1996, where the band started to play live at some local parties.
The band changed their name to 'Horizonte Lied' (previously named Horizonte Limite).
the word "Lied" it's a german word used since XVIII that represents one of the most important poetic-musical manifestations of all times.
(Franz Peter Shubert established the German 'lied' as a new art form in the 19th century).
- In 1999 the band decides to do something
more serious and began the planning and recording of their debut album 'Reciclaje'. - Due to 'out of the band' issues, Horizonte Lied
delays the recording sessions for almost 2 years.
- At the end of 2001, the band resume their work in the album 'Reciclaje' and also starts the recording of an online promotion album 'Memorias de Cr?nicas Futuras'
- October 2002, Horizonte Lied releases the first
single of 'Memorias de Cr?nicas Futuras' the 'Destello Inmortal' Maxi-Single.
