Mo Mulebell Gruve Mo Mulebell Gruve
I wrote this in my head on the way home from a Govt. Mule concert last year. It's also got some elements of Moe, Satriani, and Will Ferrell.
Get a Life Get a Life
This song features Mike Brown on harp. I pretty much just told him to go for it and he wailed. April did lead and backing vocals.
So Smart So Smart
Updated May 2006: Another one mastered by Matt Williams Co-written and sung by my wife, April.
Chicken McNuckles Chicken McNuckles
The idea for this song came when I found a beak in my Chicken Mcnuckles. I think it would be perfect for the background music of a video racing game.
Drawin Me Drawin Me
First mix to check levels, spacing, etc. After loading i discovered this was too long for this format so the ending was cut
We're the One We're the One
One of my Grandma Likens' favorite maxims was, "It takes two to tango and two to box...ya better be dancing in there." This one features April on vocals also.
Best Eye Wood Best Eye Wood
This is a song about self actualization. I used my friend's Taylor 810 for the guitar trax. I recorded one track line out with the expression system and one close mic'd at the 12th fret with an MXL2006 condensor and mixed them together.
Maybe Sorry Maybe Sorry
If you know someone that thinks they are the center of the universe you'll probably enjoy this. If you don't know someone like that, this song may be about you. It's another song that started as an idea from my dad, JD Mahoney.
Single Tear Single Tear
This song came from an idea my dad gave me. I plan to sing it at my daughter's wedding (many years from now) *Peaked at #5 on the Acoustic Folk charts.
Wander Wander
This is an older song of mine that has taken on new life with the addition of my wife, April, on vocals.
